Overview

Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Research Foundation (SSSSRF) is a DSIR recognised Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) established with a purpose to pursue research in Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). This is a charitable foundation (Darpan Registration No. issued by NITI Aayog: KA/2017/0154544) with 12A and 80G from the Government of India and the aim of our research is purely done towards societal welfare. SSSSRF was registered on 22nd March 2018 at Bangalore with its operational research centres inaugurated on 7th June 2018 in Palwal and on 23rd August 2022 in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. We are also functional at Atal Nagar (Naya Raipur), Chhattisgarh.

The strength of SSSSRF is its collaboration with Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Pediatric Cardiac Hospitals which are dedicated centres for treatment of Congenital Heart Disease. SSSSRF works closely with Clinical and Public Health wings of Sanjeevani hospitals in pursuing research. At SSSSRF, we plan to investigate factors impacting incidence of CHD by understanding the genetic and epigenetic basis of CHD. Our mission at SSSSRF is to contribute to societal welfare by achieving ‘Healthy Childhood’ through prevention of CHD.
